On Your Primary Device

NOTE: If you have already performed these steps on ONE primary device, follow the steps below in the "On Your Other Devices." Performing these steps on multiple devices will upload multiple copies of your tasks to your Todo Pro account, resulting in duplicate tasks.

  1. Update your device to the latest available version Todo (the standard Todo app – not Todo Cloud...yet)
  2. Choose ONE primary device that contains the most current and correct version of your tasks
  3. On your primary device that you selected in Step 1, switch sync services to Todo Cloud
  • Todo for iOS Devices:
    • Tap the Settings button at the bottom right
    • Select Synchronization
    • Select Switch Sync Service and tap the Switch button to disconnect from your current sync service (or ignore this step if you do not sync with any other service)
    • Select Todo Pro as your new sync option
    • Sign up for a new Todo Cloud account or connect with the account you already have
  • Todo for Mac:
    • Open the Todo app's Preferences... (from the Todo menu)
    • Select the Synchronization tab
    • Click the Switch Services button to disconnect from your current sync service (or ignore this step if you do not sync with any other service)
    • Select Todo Cloud as your new sync option
    • Sign up for a new Todo Pro account OR connect with the account you already have
  • Synchronize your tasks to Todo Cloud
    • Todo for iOS Devices:
      • Pull down the task list to activate sync
    • Todo for Mac
      • Press Command+S to activate a sync
  • View your tasks on www.todopro.com in your favorite web browser
  • Download and Install the free Todo Cloud app (iOS | Mac)
  • Sign in to Todo Pro using your username (email) and password
  • Verify all of your tasks are now available in the Todo Cloud app
  • You can now safely delete from your device the original Todo app since you will be accessing all your tasks in the Todo Cloud app
  • On Your Other Devices

    1. Download and Install the free Todo Cloud app (iOS | Mac)
    2. Sign in to Todo Cloud using your username (email) and password
    3. Verify all of your tasks are now available in the Todo Cloud app
    4. Now that all of your tasks are available in the Todo Cloud app, you can safely delete the original Todo app from your device
