There was a great Task / Checklist App called ReDo.
It was a public company in England that appears to have gone out of business.
For years I have used both ToDo and ReDo for different needs.
The ReDo app no longer functions well because it has not been updated since 2011.
It would be awesome to have this function available in ToDo.
Here's an example of how to use it.
If you have the same grocery list all the time. You go through the list and then hit reset anytime you want the list to be fresh again.
If you are working on a project that has repetitive tasks that need to be done over and over For example... we manage a website. Whenever we have to go through each page and do an upgrade of the content / images.... there may be 10-15 items that need to be check on each and every page. With more than 400 pages... we need to use something like ReDo to manage the tasks / checklist.
Hope to see this soon. I believe it would be a welcome upgrade to your software and would be something useful and would help you to achieve an competitive edge over your competition.
I believe you can accomplish what you are looking for using the duplicate option in Todo or the task repeat option.
