Add an attachment to a Task in Todo Cloud Web/Desktop

You can add attachments to your tasks, checklist, and projects in Todo Cloud. We offer several ways for you to add attachments from the web and desktop apps if you already have a task.



Method 1:


  1. Click the insertAttachments button next to the 'Create' task button
  2. Click on 'Browse for file' to find the file you want to attach.

  3. Select the file, and then select Open to add it to your task.

  4. You'll have the option to create a new task with the selected file as the attached file or Extract Writing from the selected file (this only works for image file types).  
  5. Enter the Task Name in the Task Title field you can add an optional note to the task as well



Method 2:


  1. Double-click on the task to open the Task Edit Panel then click on the + icon in the Attachment row
  2. Click on 'Browse for file' to find the file you want to attach.
  3. Select the file, and then select Open to add it to your task.



Method 3:

  1. You can attach files to your tasks, by control-clicking (right-clicking) on then selecting the 'Upload Attachment' option from the context menu. 

  2. Click on 'Browse for file' to find the file you want to attach.

  3. Select the file, and then select Open to add it to your task.




Remove an attachment


If you’ve already added an attachment and decide you don’t want it, double click the task to open the Task Edit Panel. Click the insertAttachment row to expand and view the attached files for a task, then click the trash icon next to the attachment name to remove it.







Storage - We are providing 100MB of free storage for basic users without a subscription. Premium users will get 1 GB of storage. Later, we will provide options to buy additional storage. The maximum file size of a single attachment is 25MB.



Supported File Formats - PDF, QuickTimeMovie, MPEG, MPEG2, Mp3, MPEG4, AVI, AIFF, MIDI, Waveform Audio, ZIP, JPEG, JPEG2000, TIFF, PICT, GIF, PNG, BMP, ICO, QuickTimeImage, RawImage, LivePhoto, SVG, ICNS
