Simple "View All Projects" Option (in Main Menu or as Filtered List)

I realize there are workarounds to view a list of all projects in Todo (such as tag each top level as "project", then filter by that tag).
However, why isn't there an option on the main menu (All Tasks, Focus, Starred, Inbox) to view all Projects? It seems a very easy thing to add.
Or a default list that shows all projects. Or a way to create lists with a filter (perhaps best option).
It seems an unnecessary step to label (tag) each as a "project" when the app already differentiates them as such (from tasks, sub tasks, checklist, list, etc).
